Captain D’s Breaks Ground

🐟 If you’ve never heard of Captain D’s, you’re not alone — and that’s about to change in Muskogee.

 

On December 16, 2025, community leaders, business owners, and Chamber members gathered to celebrate the official groundbreaking for Captain D’s Seafood Kitchen, a new restaurant coming to 419 E. Okmulgee Street. The new location will be built next to the existing Church’s Chicken, which is already locally owned by the same Muskogee Chamber of Commerce member.

 

What Is Captain D’s?

 

Captain D’s is a seafood restaurant chain that has been serving communities across the U.S. for decades. It’s known for offering affordable, family-friendly seafood in a casual setting.
