Bringing Families Together Through Fun and Fellowship |
In Muskogee, the first Monday of each month transforms into a vibrant celebration of community and family bonding.
Ms. Lori Llyn Jefferson, host a dedicated community outreach ministry, Family Game Night aimed at engaging the youth and their families.
These events are generously supported by local sponsors who provide a variety of prizes, ensuring that every attendee, including volunteers and participants, leaves with a token of appreciation.
Some faithful sponsors have been the Noon Lions Club, Leslie Hamil and the Muskogee YVC, Youth Volunteer Corps, the Muskogee Teen Center and the Community Resource Officers, Officer Ron, Mayes and Officer Taylor Mills.
Participants have the opportunity to win monetary rewards through various games and open mic performances, with prizes ranging from gift cards to cash.
In instances where the first Monday coincides with a holiday, the event is rescheduled to the second Monday of the month.
These gatherings have become a cherished tradition, fostering a sense of unity and joy within the Muskogee community.
For those interested in attending or contributing as sponsors, reaching out to local community centers or religious organizations in Muskogee is recommended.
Engaging in such events not only provides entertainment but also strengthens the communal bonds that make Muskogee a special place to call home. |
