Get ready to declutter with seven designated days for city residents to dispose of unwanted items, plus special events for hazardous waste and brush. |
The City of Muskogee has officially released its schedule for the much-anticipated free dump days in Muskogee for 2025.
This popular program gives residents a perfect opportunity to clear out unwanted clutter from their homes and yards without the extra cost.
It's a chance to finally tackle that garage or attic project you've been putting off.
The year kicks off with a special multi-day event, the Azalea Cleanup, scheduled for March 26th through the 29th.
This event is perfectly timed to help the community prepare for Muskogee's beautiful spring season and famed azaleas.
Additional single-day opportunities for the Muskogee city cleanup are set for June 7th, August 2nd, and October 11th.
To participate, residents must present a current city water bill and a valid driver’s license to prove residency.
This service is strictly for residential use, and commercial businesses are not permitted to participate.
There are a few important guidelines to remember.
Appliances containing refrigeration units will not be accepted unless they have been professionally certified as safe by a licensed specialist.
This is a critical safety measure for landfill staff and the local environment.
To preserve valuable space at the Muskogee landfill, the city asks that all brush and limbs be taken to a separate collection site at 40th and Denver.
Each resident is limited to one truckload, which can include a trailer up to 16 feet in length.
Alongside these events, the city will also host two days for disposing of household pollutants and seven separate collection events specifically for brush.
FAQs about Muskogee Free Dump Days
What do I need to bring to participate?
You must bring a current City of Muskogee water bill and a matching valid driver's license to prove you are a city resident.
Where do I take tree branches and brush?
All brush and limbs must be taken to the designated site at 40th and Denver, not the main landfill. This helps manage space effectively during the brush and limb collection events.
